how to get there...

we must make do with scraps

 flakes of sunshine in the rain

shreds of freedom in the sea breeze

crumbs of wisdom in knowledge

Dona Nobis Pacem...

peace is my drug

may it never

run short of supply

may it never

wear off

on the fence post...

Michael Leunig

the old happiness gauge
does not weather with the seasons

it has even been known to glow
in thunderstorms

let it go...

Michael Leunig

let it be
let it be
let it all be weathered

set me free
and I can be

a soul untethered

feed the inner duck...

Michael Leunig

feed the inner duck
not with promises
and luck

and in the molting season
know the melancholic soul
is just a passing reason for
a brave new role

a herbal remedy for lifeache...

Michael Leunig

stretch out on the patch of grass
feel the touch of the breeze

embrace the sky

connection...

Connection - Marcello Rampazzo

there will come a time
when hello means

goodbye

what are you doing...

Michael Leunig

what are you thinking

I'm thinking that my sky is
so much bigger than me

what are you feeling

I'm feeling that my sky
keeps me safe

and loves me
